At the heart of each of our projects is a commitment to equity, inclusivity and opportunity for all community members to benefit from a clean energy economy regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender, religion or disability status. Our project activities and goals are aligned with the Athens-Clarke County 100% Athens Clean Energy Resolution, the Athens-Clarke County Resolution in Support of Athens Immigrant, Undocumented, and Latinx Communities; the Executive Order On Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government; and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 17).

POLICY ADVOCACY
We advocate for equitable labor policy and practices for renewable energy (RE) and allied building trade sectors, Our primary goals are to secure family supporting wages and benefits, fair local hiring ratios, and worker safety and protections.
PARTNERSHIP
Through building equitable partnerships with community groups, nonprofits, clean energy sector actors and local government, we lay the foundations for sustainable and resilient collaborations for years to come.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
We collaborate with community partners to bring workforce development programs in renewable energy and allied sectors to our community. These include worker training for contractors and constructing youth pipelines from high school
OUTREACH
Our community education and engagement efforts aim to educate the community on the opportunities and benefits of the growing renewable energy economy and associated jobs/careers
